Understanding who can use Codequiry

Codequiry is a plagiarism detection platform exclusively designed for educators, teachers, professors, and educational institutions. Student usage of this platform is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of academic integrity.

Why This Policy Exists

When students use plagiarism detection services to check their own work before submission, it fundamentally undermines the academic integrity process. Students can iteratively modify their plagiarized code until it evades detection, which defeats the entire purpose of academic honesty enforcement.

Codequiry exists to protect education, not to help students circumvent academic integrity checks.

Verification Required

All Codequiry accounts must provide proof of educator status during signup or upon request. This includes:

Institutional email address (.edu, .ac.uk, etc.)
Faculty ID or employment verification
Official school website listing showing instructor position
Other acceptable documentation proving educator role

Consequences for Student Usage

Immediate penalties for policy violations

Immediate Account Deactivation

ANY STUDENT CAUGHT USING THIS PLATFORM WILL HAVE THEIR ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY DEACTIVATED.

If our system detects or we receive reports of student usage, the following actions will be taken:

Immediately suspended without warning
Permanently deactivated
Flagged in our system
Banned from creating future accounts
Student's university/institution may be notified

University Reporting

We reserve the right to report students to their educational institutions. Creating an account on this platform as a student constitutes a violation of academic integrity policies at most universities. Your institution's honor code office or academic integrity department may be contacted.

No Refunds for Violations

Students caught using this platform are NOT eligible for refunds. This is explicitly stated in our Refund Policy.

Any subscription fees paid by students attempting to use this service to circumvent academic integrity checks will be forfeited. This includes trial subscriptions that convert to paid plans.

Single Check = Instant Ban

Even a SINGLE assignment check will result in immediate flagging and account termination.
